拥有超过2亿用户的Google Earth，早已经不再是纯粹的地图工具，它越来越在互联网以外的领域发挥着重要的作用。稍微搜索一下GSeeker，你就会发现Google Earth的应用范围正在不断扩大。同样地，有越来越多的机构包括非营利性机构一直都想借助Google Earth的力量，更好地为人群服务。为了更方便这些机构使用Google Earth，Google今天宣布推出了Google Earth Outreach。

　　Google Earth Outreach并不是一个特殊的软件版本，而只是一个特制的Google Earth信息集合频道，类似于Google以往为校园及教育机构所定制的Google网页特别版。在Google Earth Outreach里，Google将常见的Google Earth资源包括官方指南、快速入门、演示、案件学习等内容放在一起，以方便非营利机构可以快速得到想要的资料。此外，Google还向合资格的非营利机构免费提供Google Earth Pro版使用许可：
