挥指天下：Google Earth Touch
　　iPod加入了iPhone的触控技术后变成了iPod Touch，因此我们也可以将采用触控技术的Google Earth称为Google Earth Touch。在Google Summer of Code官方blog里，就介绍了一种Google Earth Touch，只不过它的官方名为touchEarth。touchEarth由Pawel Solyga开发。

　　touchEarth即Google Earth的触控版，用户可通过Pawel Solyga开发的程序直接用两只手指在多点触控屏上操作Google Earth。touchEarth使用了Google Earth COM API去控制Google Earth的某些特性，所有从多点触控屏上产生的事件都会从touchlib里通过TUIO协议发送至touchEarth。这听起来比较复杂，因此我们直接观看下面两个演示视频会更好一些（via Ionut）：





　　这种触控方式类似于iPhone及iPod Touch上所采用的，尤其是用两只手指放大及缩小地图时，效果几乎一模一样。如果拥有尺寸更大的触控屏，相信效果会更震撼。

　　其实这并非Google Earth首次与触控技术相结合，早在06年4月，我们已经介绍过类似的技术，只是效果稍逊。假如Google单独发布这种触控式的Google Earth（硬件设备），我相信应该也会有市场的。
