　　"Google"是什么？Google是搜索引擎的时候，它是个名词；在从"有事百度一下"演变过来的"有事谷一下"（有点恶）或"有事Google一下"里，Google或谷歌是个动词。当我们看到一个很有新意的web2.0产品时，我们通常会说它"很Google"，这时，Google又变成了形容词。当一个词语变得很流行的时候，它几乎可以拥有任何词性。不过这些都只是Google Fans们的用法而已。到底在比较权威的说法里，"Google"是个什么词语呢

？

　　著名的《牛津英语大词典》（Oxford English Dictionary）在6月15日的时候进行了更新(via SEJ)，增加了一批新的词语，而其中"Google"就作为一个动词而被官方载入了《牛津英语大词典》，足见这个词语的流行程度。我截了张图：

　　词典里对"Google"这个动词的解释是这样的：

intr. To use the Google search engine to find information on the Internet.
trans. To search for information about (a person or thing) using the Google search engine.


　　可见"Google"指的是使用Google搜索引擎来寻找互联网上的信息的动作。不知道Yahoo!之前是不是已经作为一个名词载入了词典，有这本词典的朋友可以查一下。
